Cost Of Waiting

Being in real estate, I tend to see and understand the appreciation you receive when buying. However, when I see graphs that show different types of investments and the return received, I am still in awe of how the system works. As you can see in this chart, last year was a great year for housing appreciation.


But that’s not all.  The housing supply is part of the reason, the values have risen.  The stats you see are for the nation, but this also is extremely accurate for the DFW area.


I am also thrilled that I live in Texas–for a lot of reasons–but for now I’m talking about our housing market. Texas leads the nation in the most homes with positive equity.


So, all around fantastic news for our area!
